Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at sean@churchguardsolutions.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Today’s churches face growing risks — from medical emergencies to disruptive individuals and even violent threats. A solid security plan ensures your church is prepared to respond without creating fear or disrupting ministry.

Not at all. A well-trained team blends in with the church environment and supports a peaceful atmosphere. Security shouldn't intimidate — it should quietly protect.

No. In most cases, a trained volunteer safety team is more than enough. We specialize in helping you build and train that team from within your church family.

We assess entry points, camera coverage, children’s areas, emergency exits, and more — identifying both risks and practical fixes.

Yes. Having a written safety plan, trained team, and documented protocols can help lower liability and demonstrate due diligence

Our approach begins with prevention, awareness, and de-escalation, because the best outcome is always the one where no one gets hurt. However, we also recognize that violence against churches is a real threat.

So yes — we do provide training on appropriate and lawful use of force, but it is framed within a clear, responsible, and ministry-centered philosophy:

  • De-escalation first

  • Communication and coordination always

  • Use of force only when absolutely necessary to protect life

We don’t “militarize” church teams. Instead, we help them develop the judgment, readiness, and confidence needed to respond firmly and safely if a situation becomes life-threatening.

Our goal is to support a church environment that is welcoming and safe — not fearful or aggressive.
